Shin Bet chief: EU countries may recognize Palestine

Shin Bet Director Yuval Diskin told the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that one of the scenarios in terms of international recognition of a Palestinian state is that additional countries, including European counties, will join the move.
A Palestinian source estimated earlier that Paraguay, Peru, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic would be next to recognize Palestine. (Roni Sofer)
