Kahlon to take temporary charge of Social Services Ministry

Communications Minister Moshe Kahlon will be placed in charge of the Social Services Ministry for the next three months, in the aftermath of Isaac Herzog's withdrawal from the government. As part of the position changes, Matan Vilnai will become the minister in charge of the home front, while Orit Noked will become the minister of agriculture. Shalom Simhon will take charge of the Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry, which will now also deal with minority affairs.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is to present the appointments of Vilani, Noked and Simhon for the government's approval on Wednesday. (Attila Somfalvi and Roni Sofer)
