Erekat asks UK to support PA's proposal to condemn Israel

Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat has asked the British government to support the proposal that the Palestinian Authority will file with the UN Security Council. The proposal calls for the condemnation of Israel for continuing to build on the Palestinian territories and in east Jerusalem.

Erekat made the request during his meeting with British Minister for the Middle East Alistair Burt, who is visiting Israel and the PA. (Elior Levy)
