Tunisian ministers quit longtime ruling party

Tunisia's state news agency says two top ministers have quit the political party founded by the country's longtime autocratic ruler, who was ousted amid street protests last week.

A new unity government was announced Monday but demonstrators have been protesting that it is mostly made up of old guard politicians. They insist democratic change is impossible with supporters of ousted President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali still in power. (AP)
