Wives of Jewish soldiers petition to High Court

The Legal Forum for the Land of Israel and several wives of Jewish IDF soldiers petitioned to the High Court of Justice Thursday demanding that the family fees given to Jewish soldiers be matched to those of soldiers from minority groups.
It is claimed in the petition that wives of soldiers outside the Bedouin or Druze sectors must meet a number of conditions to receive a grant. The petitioners claim that this arrangement discriminates the young families of Jewish soldiers. (Aviad Glickman)
