Peres mourns deceased wife: It was love at first sight

President Shimon Peres mourned his departed wife Sonia during her funeral on Friday saying: "She was a wonderful woman. She was one with nature, the giver and the provider."
Peres mentioned his first encounter with Sonia over 73 years ago at Ben Shemen Youth Village: "I saw a young girl working in the garden, dressed in shorts with her hair weaved into a braid and her face looked wonderful, resembling a Greek statue.
