Leaders worldwide extend condolences to Peres

Leaders of various nations called President Shimon Peres over the weekend to extend their condolences for the passing of his wife, Sonya Peres. Among the leaders were Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou, as well as King Abdullah II of Jordan.

The Jordanian King told Peres that his support and thoughts are with him. He also said that Peres is not alone in these tough times. (Ronen Medzini)
