Students Union appeals against Yeshiva students' bill

The National Students Union has appealed to the High Court over the yeshiva students' funding bill, claiming it was an unequal law.

The appeal stated that the government decision to give out scholarships and offer incentives to married yeshiva students so that they would join the workforce didn't fit in with the requirements of Israeli law and trample the principle of equality. (Tomer Velmer)
