BG Airport: Peruvian arrested over cocaine smuggling attempt

A Peruvian citizen who landed at Ben Gurion Airport Sunday was arrested while trying to smuggle four kilograms (8.18 pounds) of cocaine into Israel.
Detectives from the airports 747 unit together with Tel Aviv police force detectives arrested the man whose suit contained two and a half kilograms (5.5 pounds) of the drug and who was hiding over a kilogram inside him. The man will be brought before the courts later today for a hearing into the extension of his remand. (Eli Senyor)
