MK Akunis wants Zoabi disqualified from next Knesset

MK Ofir Akunis (Likud) announced that he will move to have MK Hanin Zoabi (Balad) disqualified from being nominated for the 19th Knesset due to her participation in the flotilla to Gaza.
Akunis said the Turkel report on the flotilla raid determines that "the flotilla was a terror attack against Israel", and "according to the Basic Law of the Knesset, no one will be a candidate for elections if his actions support the armed battle of a terror organization". (Roni Sofer)
