Al Jazeera report: PA asked for authority over Maale Adumim

Documents discussing east Jerusalem and the peace talks that were released by Al Jazeera revealed a May 2008 conversation between then-Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and Palestinian negotiator Ahmed Qureia. Qureia proposed that 30,000 Palestinians should live in the West Bank city Maale Adumim under Palestinian rule. Livni responded by saying that this is not an realistic option. (Elior Levy)
