Armenian-French singer receives Scopus Award for 2011

The 86 year-old Armenian-French singer Charles Aznavour received the Scopus Awards of the French Friends of the Hebrew University for 2011 on Monday. The award was given to him for his contribution to civilization and his fight for the Armenian people.

Aznavour has participated in over 60 films and took part in more than thousand songs. He has sold over 100 million copies of his albums worldwide. (AFP)
