MKs Tibi, Barakeh attend convention for Palestinian prisoners
Members of Knesset Ahmad Tibi and Mohammad Barakeh participated in a convention for Palestinian prisoners held in Morocco, and called them "freedom and conscience fighters."
The two sang the Palestinian national anthem with the other participants, and called to raise the issue of Palestinian prisoners to the top of the global agenda. "It is not fair that one prisoner who fell captive during his military service is the most famous soldier in history just because he is Israeli, while Palestinian prisoners rot in jail, and the world doesn't hear about it," said Tibi.
