Report: Abbas asks Mubarak to put stop to Al Jazeera leaks
Egyptian media outlets, quoting diplomatic sources, reported that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has asked Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to appeal to Qatar and demand that Al Jazeera stop the leaks which, they claim distort the Palestinian Authority's image in the eyes of the Arab world.
Earlier, Egypt announced its support of the Palestinian stance over the publication of the leaked documents. The Palestinian stance is that the documentation of the negotiations with Israel are completely fabricated. (Elior Levy)
