Authorities in the Czech Republic and Ukraine say they are beefing up airport security measures in the wake of the suicide attack in Moscow.
Police spokeswoman Barbora Kudlackova said on Tuesday that these would include more officers at Prague's Ruzyne airport, with sniffer dogs and sharpshooters. In Ukraine, Kiev airport's spokeswoman Oksana Ozhogova also additional Interior Ministry troops had been deployed at Kiev's Boryspil airport. Police with sniffing dogs were randomly checking passengers and their luggage for possible explosives, she said. (AP)
