The Kadima party announced Wednesday that it would boycott all Knesset sessions concerning the inquiry committee into the leftist organizations. In a letter sent by the party to the Chairman of the Knesset House Committee MK Yariv Levin, they stated that Kadima wouldn't send representatives to act as members in the parliamentary inquiry committee on the party's behalf.
"In a democratic country politicians aren't allowed to investigate citizens. Even without agreeing to the sum total of these organizations activities we believe that establishing inquiry committees is a new low in the Knesset's history. The establishment of a parliamentary inquiry committee is a dangerous and anti-democratic act. (Attila Somfalvi)
