The B'Tselem organization commented on the sentence issued Thursday in the Naalin shooting affair and stated it hoped the army will internalize that judges' ruling that the incident was a serious and inappropriate one which violated the IDF's basic values.
The group claimed that the military prosecution's policy of failing to hold those who hurt Palestinians accountable is what allows such incidents to take place. B'Tselem also expressed satisfaction that the court rejected the claim suggesting the video was doctored. (Elior Levy)
