PM: Independent body to organise Tunisia's elections

Tunisia's first free elections will be organised by an independent body and monitored by international observers, Prime Minister Mohamed Ghannouchi said on Thursday.

Ghannouchi was speaking in a live television address, after announcing a cabinet reshuffle that purged the interim government of members of the former ruling party. (Reuters)
