German minister fears 'infectious momentum' in Mideast

German Defense Minister Karl-Theodor Guttenberg said on Friday he was concerned about the risk of a "infectious momentum" developing as unrest spread in the Middle East.

"There is a risk of an infectious momentum," Guttenberg told Reuters at the World Economic Forum in Davos in response to a question about the protests in Tunisia and Egypt. (Reuters)
