Egypt army secures area of US, UK missions

The Egyptian army, sent into the Cairo's streets after violent countrywide protests against the government, deployed units in an area of several embassies, including the US and British missions.

One army officer was seen chatting in a friendly way with one Egyptian, who was defying a curfew. The captain told the bystander: "It's a good idea to go home." (Reuters)
