Crowley: Egyptian people demand real reform

The US government has called on Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to come out with new reforms to calm the unrest in his nation.

"The people of Egypt no longer accept the status quo," wrote Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs Philip Crowley in a Twitter message. "They are looking to their government for a meaningful process to foster real reform." (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
