Mubarak asks Ahmed Shafiq to form new gov't

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has made Ahmed Shafiq responsible for forming a new government, Egyptian TV channels reported. Shafiq previously served as a commander at the Egyptian Air Force. In his latest government role he served as the civil aviation minister. Earlier Saturday the government's ministers have resigned as result of the unrest. (Roee Nahmias)
