Obama reiterates call for restraint in Egypt
President Barak Obama is calling for restraint in Egypt and renewing his support for universal rights and concrete steps that lead to political reform.
Obama met with national security advisers for an hour Saturday afternoon to review the fast changing developments in Egypt. "He (Obama) reiterated our focus on opposing violence and calling for restraint; supporting universal rights, and supporting concrete steps that advance political reform within Egypt," the White House said in a statement released after the meeting.
