Egyptian police arrest over 1,000 escaped convicts
Egyptian police have returned to span across city streets around the country, after retreating on Friday evening, the Al Arabiya news network reported. According to the report, police have arrested more than a thousand escaped prisoners. A Defense Ministry spokesman in Cairo called the protestors to abide by the curfew, and demanded the remaining escaped convicts to turn themselves in. (Roee Nahmias)
