Iranian FM: Revolution in Egypt will create Islamic ME
Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said the revolution in Egypt "will create an Islamic Middle East," and condemned the involvement of the United States and its attempts to "thwart" the popular movement for freedom.
"The great and revolutionary Egyptian people, who are making history at these very moments, will have a key role in the creation of an Islamic Middle East," said Salehi on Iranian national TV. (AFP)
