ElBaradei: Ultimately, Egyptian army will be with people
Dr. Mohamed ElBaradei, one of the leaders of the Egyptian uprising, told British newspaper Independent that if President Hosni Mubarak "wants to save his skin, he better leave... Ultimately, the Egyptian army will be with the people."
He added that he did not want to be president. Asked whether he would consider transitional presidency until general elections are held, he said: "If there's a consensus by all people… I will do that." (AFP)
