Weinstein doubts Galant suitable for IDF chief role
Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein presented the High Court of Justice with the State's position on the Galant IDF chief appointment affair.
"The data in the file against General Galant raise significant judicial difficulties over the feasibility of the decision to appoint him to the role of Chief of Staff," Weinstein noted and added that he "doubts whether it would be suitable, ethically speaking, to leave the appointment decision as is." The issue has now been handed over to the Prime Minister. (Aviad Glickman)
