PM, defense minister cancel Galant appointment
The prime minister and the defense minister decided Tuesday to cancel the appointment of General Galant to the role of IDF Chief of Staff and appoint General Yair Naveh to the role for 60 days.
"In light of the situation that has arisen following the Attorney General's decision and its implications, the prime minister and defense minister have reached the conclusion that they have o choice but to re start the procedures for the appointment of the next chief of staff." (Attila Somfalvi)
