Report: Obama promoting 'orderly transition' of Egypt regime
US' ABC network reported Tuesday that US special envoy Frank Wisner spoke to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. They discussed how best to implement an "orderly transition".
US sources noted that US President Barack Obama is hoping to see a regime that respects democracy, economy, human rights and political reforms established in Egypt. The white house refused to confirm whether Obama instructed Wisner to demand that Mubarak resign from office. (Ynet)
