Knesset Committee to discuss cancellation of gallant appointment

The Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee will hold a special meeting to discuss the Galant chief of staff appointment cancellation.

The meeting will be held Wednesday following criticism of the prime minister and defense minister's decision to appoint deputy Chief of Staff Yair Naveh as temporary chief of staff rather than extend IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi's term in office. (Attila Somfalvi)
