Obama to speak on Egypt Tuesday evening
The White House says President Barack Obama is expected to speak about the developing situation in Egypt Tuesday night.
Obama's comments will be his first on the situation since Friday, and come after Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak announced he would not run for office again. American officials say a special envoy Obama dispatched to Egypt told Mubarak that the United States saw his presidency at an end and urged him not to seek another term in office. (AP)
