Report: Suriname also recognizes Palestinian state
The Ma'an news agency reported that Suriname has joined several South American countries in recognizing a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders.
According to the report, Surinamese President Desi Bouterse sent a letter to PA President Mahmoud Abbas and the UN secretary-general expressing Suriname's support for "Palestinian national rights" and the establishment of a state on 1967 borders. (Ynet)
