Mofaz attacks Netanyahu for not extending Ashkenazi's term
The chairman of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Shaul Mofaz (Kadima), inveighed against a decision by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak not to extend the IDF chief of staff's term due to the cancelation of General Yoav Galant's nomination for the role.
"Ehud Barak and Benjamin Netanyahu haven't the intelligence or common sense to do the right thing for the state," he told the Knesset. (Attila Somfalvi)
