The Muslim Brotherhood rejected a proposal by Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak by which he will stay in power until September. "The people object to the partial proposal offered by the leader of the regime," a statement from the opposition group says.
In addition, at least 10 people were injured in clashes in Tahrir Square between Mubarak supporters and protesters. Later, when pro-government demonstrators charged on horses on camels, at least six were dragged from their animals and beaten. (AFP)
