Some 2,000 jobs in the tourism and hotel industry will be offered next week as part of a Tourism Ministry training exhibition, which will be held during the annual International Mediterranean Tourism Market exhibition in Tel Aviv.
The event, which will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, will present possibilities for studying and training, as well as employment opportunities.
The fair will offer jobs in the hotel industry and travel agencies, as well as positions of tour operators, tour guides and operators of tourism sites.
"In light of the expectation for a continued increase in incoming tourism, in accordance with the Tourism Ministry's objectives, led by the arrival of 5 million tourists in 2015, it is very important to recruit and train skilled manpower that could be integrated into the tourism industry, which is becoming on of the economy's most important growth and employment engines," said Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov.
