Additional NIS 125 million for home fortification of Gaza vicinity towns

The government on Sunday approved a NIS 125 million ($33.62 million) budget for completing fortification of homes in Israeli towns and communities within a 4.5 kilometer (2.796 miles) radius of the border with Gaza.
The funds would allow the fortification of 800 housing units. Thus far, the state has transferred NIS 930 million ($231 million) for the fortification project. (Attila Somfalvi)
