Netanyahu: Egypt could follow Iran

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke Monday at the European Friends of Israel conference and said that Egypt had many possible options other than the liberal and democratic models.

He said that Egypt could adopt secular reform or that the Islamists could take over and that it was possible that Egypt would follow in Iran's footsteps - threaten and oppress the Egyptian people. (Ronen Medzini)
