WikiLeaks: Israel wanted Suleiman to succeed Mubarak
Back in 2008 already, Israel preferred to see Omar Suleiman succeeding Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, WikiLeaks documents handed over to the British Daily Telegrpah reveal.
According to the documents, drafted in the US embassies in Israel and in Egypt, Jerusalem believed that Suleiman will replace Mubarak at least temporarily after the latter retires. (Ynet)
