Druze officers to become tour guides
Dozens of retired combat officers to guide tourists from Israel, abroad through Galilee's Druze villages
Dozens of retired Druze combat officers will receive tour guide certificates at the International Mediterranean Tourism Market (IMTM) fair taking place this week in Tel Aviv.
The former officers will serve as tour guides for groups from Israel and abroad in Druze villages in the Galilee.
"I am proud to have this option to guide tourists and continue to serve the State by passing on geographical information and strengthening the awareness to the Druze and Circassian cultures," says Adnan Kabashi, a former paratroopers officer from the northern village of Julis.
