Islamic Jihad claims responsibility for mortar fire

The al-Quds Brigades, the Islamic Jihad's military wing, claimed responsibility for the firing of mortar shells into Israel. The movement issued a statement saying the mortars were directed at a military post located east of Khan Younis.
Four mortar shells have been fired into Israel since the morning hours. There have been no reports of injuries. (Elior Levy)
