Diskin: Developments in Arab world show calm is fragile
Shin Bet Director Yuval Diskin addressed the State of Israel's need to keep alert in light of recent developments in the Arab worlds, including the crisis in Lebanon and the riots in Egypt.
"The events that took place in the region are a stop sign, and show that the calm is fragile," he said in a speech at the Israel Management Center in Herzliya. "We are aware of the matter, understand the significance and prepare for anything that might happen." (Hanan Greenberg)
