Watchdog: Egyptian military oppressing journalists

Egypt's military was not allowing foreign journalists to enter Cairo's Tahrir Square on Tuesday, part of what an international press watchdog called new obstacles in covering the ongoing crisis.

Egypt's police has long played a role in the targeting of foreign and local journalists, especially over the past weeks of unrest, but the military was believed not to be involved. (AP)
