Fisher: Not the time to play with budget, no money to waste

Governor of the Bank of Israel, Stanley Fischer spoke during the Herzliya Conference on Tuesday saying that given the situation in the Middle East, Israel "must manage the market so it will be able to handle any crisis that might break in the future if there will be another decline in the geopolitical state."

He added: "This is not the time to play around with the budget only a month an half after it was approved. We have no money to waste, we need to keep what we have. We must act responsibly and not in a populist manner." (Ynet)
