Egypt bans entry of Palestinians, temporarily

Egyptian authorities have banned the entry of Palestinians, the director of the borders authority said. Twelve Palestinians were expelled from the country after landing in Cairo on Wednesday.

A source in the Palestinian embassy in Cairo said the ban was temporary and does not apply to Palestinians who are already in Egypt. (AFP)
