Iran: 3 gas pipelines hit by explosions near Qom
Simultaneous explosions on three gas pipelines jolted the nearby holy Shi'ite city of Qom, the semi-official Mehr news agency reported on Friday.
A local official who was only identified by his family name, Bahrami, said the Red Crescent staff were present at the site, declining to elaborate more. However, student news agency ISNA reported there was one blast on a cross-country gas pipelines and there were no casualties, but the cause of the incident was under investigation. (Reuters)
