Egypt: Residential building collapses, kills 13

At least 13 people were killed and 23 were injured when a six-story residential building collapsed in the southern Egyptian city of Luxor. Rescue forces are attempting to evacuate residents still trapped under the ruins.
According to local police, an initial investigation shows that the structure collapsed as result of a negligent renovation of its foundation. (AFP)
