Senior Foreign Ministry officials, headed by Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, have gathered to extensively estimate the situation after former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's resignation.
The ministry published a statement, saying that "Israel does not intervene in Egypt's internal affairs, and its only concern in connection with the events is for the stability in the region to be preserved, and for the peace treaty to be upheld." (Ronen Medzini)
