Defense Minister Barak speaks with Egyptian military chief
Defense Minister Ehud Barak spoke with his Egyptian counterpart Hussein Tantawi, who is heading the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, which assumed power of Egypt following President Hosni Mubarak's resignation.
Earlier, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed the Egyptian military's announcement that it would uphold all international treaties signed by the nation, including the peace accords with Israel. (Hanan Greenberg)
