Netanyahu: Gantz's appointment to stabilize IDF

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed the appointment of Major General Benny Gantz as IDF chief of staff saying: "Gantz is a outstanding officer, a skilled commander and an experienced person professionally and organizationally."
"This appointment will stabilize the IDF, something which is very important at this time as our area is in turmoil," he added. Later on Sunday the ministers are expected to approvel Gantz's appointment. (Ronen Medzini)
