Minister Eitan: Barak's conduct in Galant affair inappropriate
A verbal clash broke out during the cabinet meeting between Minister Michael Eitan and Defense Minister Ehud Barak over the cancellation of Major-General Yoav Galant's appointment as IDF chief of staff.
Barak criticized Eitan's "inappropriate comments" against Galant, after the minister said the general should be kept away from any public positions in the future. Eitan told Barak in response, "If there's anything inappropriate, it's your conduct in this case and the way you abandoned Galant." (Attila Somfalvi)
